Brix Opening
On the first floor of 1284 Washington Street in Boston is a new wine shop like nothing you have ever experienced.  Brix wine shop creates an experience in the purchasing of wine the likes of which you have never seen.  The shop is warm and inviting from its cork floors to the deep rich orange back wall where bottles appear to dance on small lighted stages.  The tasting area is granite topped and the display bottles appear to be floating in a field of deep black.  You might feel as if you are entering a very high scale wine bar, a feeling that was intentional and critical in the design process of the store, but do not be intimidated, the wine selections are wonderful and so are the prices.  Yes you can find your favorites, but there are hidden gems at every turn.  You will find many bottles that are new to you, however do not fear, the staff is always willing to help and offer suggestions.  Next time you are in the city or just if you have nothing to do one day take a trip to Brix wine shop, you will not be disappointed.
